Big Picture

Big Tree School of Natural Healing provides education to anyone seeking to understand the process of body-mind-spirit transformation for themselves and others.

Ancient healers engaged with the body, mind, emotions, and spirit to create powerful pathways of healing.  We are continuing the lineage of hands-on healers who honor the timeless interplay of matter and spirit manifesting as living form.

Big Tree specializes in the Meridian Massage Approach
Meridian Massage encourages the flow of energy.
We refer to this energy as Qi (pronounced "chee"). Abundant, balanced, and smoothly flowing Qi is the basis of happiness and health.

We use three methods of practical support:

1. Hands-on healing -  gentle touch that activates the energetic pathways that have been used for 5,000 years in Chinese medicine.
2. Lifestyle adjustments - shifts of habit or mindset that encourage harmony of body, mind, emotions, and spirit.
3. Self--care practices - gentle movement that supports the flow and balance of energy.

You can learn Meridian Massage

"All that is required is curiosity about the world around you, and the wilderness within you."
- Cindy Black, L.Ac., founder of BTSNH

From beginning to end, you will be guided and encouraged to weave what you are learning with all that you already know.  Courses progress in a logical way that opens doors for beginners and expands the horizon for the experienced.
